The role of digital technologies in recovery

Digital technologies play a pivotal role in shaping how governments in the Arab region navigate new opportunities and challenges. In this context, ESCWA, the Ministry of Industry and Trade in the Sudan and the Ministry of Production and Economic Resources in River Nile State organized a national workshop on 12 December focused on the role of digital technologies in recovery.

The workshop shed light on key concepts regarding the impact of digital technologies during the recovery phase. Participants gained insights into the best regional and international practices for developing policies related to digital technologies in conflict-affected countries.

The workshop was attended by representatives from public institutions involved in the formulation and implementation of digital technology policies.
