Building trust in digital government services
To present practical approaches and emerging technology trends that contribute to enhancing cybersecurity and fostering trust in reliable digital services, ESCWA held a workshop on building trust in digital government services on 11 and 12 September, at the UN-House in Beirut.
Topics of discussion included cybersecurity in the Arab region, the role of emerging technologies in improving trust in digital government services, security of the enabling systems, legal and regulatory aspects, and the related best practices from the region and beyond.
The workshop, organized in collaboration with the Arab ICT Organization, the Internet Society and the International Telecommunication Union, featured a training session on encryption for government representatives.
