The African Development Bank is hosting a flagship side event during its 2025 Annual Meetings, focused on the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Africa. This timely event will explore how AI can support the Bank’s Ten-Year Strategy 2024–2033 by accelerating innovation, productivity, and inclusive growth.
Held in partnership with Google, the session will highlight how AI intersects with the Bank’s High 5s and broader development objectives. It will also emphasize the need for strategic investment in Africa’s data infrastructure and digital ecosystem to ensure that the continent is not merely a consumer of AI, but an active participant and innovator.
