Digital trade offers significant potential for Kazakhstan’s economic diversification, competitiveness, and regional integration, particularly as economies across Central Asia and the broader Asia-Pacific region accelerate digital transformation. Recognizing this opportunity QazTrade, in collaboration with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), has developed a Recommended Action Plan for advancing the country’s digital trade integration.

This Action Plan draws on diagnostic assessments and regional benchmark tools, provided by ESCAP. This workshop serve as an opportunity to seek consultations with key stakeholders on the recommended action plan to identify concrete policy and institutional measures for enabling cross-border digital transactions, promoting interoperability, and reducing barriers to participation in digital trade.
