AI for Good Innovate for Impact is a global initiative designed to harness the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) to address critical challenges and deliver practical solutions. Since its launch in early 2024, the program has collected 219 submissions from 38 countries, showcasing diverse AI applications across sectors such as healthcare, agriculture, energy, and education. Explore key insights and case studies in the latest Innovate for Impact 2025 report here.
The project is supported by a donation of cloud credits from Zhejiang Lab.
In 2025, Innovate for Impact expands its focus to the intersection of AI and Space Computing, recognizing the growing importance of these technologies in tackling global issues. The themed session, “Innovate for Impact: AI and Space Computing,” takes place on 26 September 2025 at the Hangzhou Future Technology City Conference Center in China, during the 4th Global Digital Trade Expo. This half-day event explores the role of AI and Space in shaping innovative solutions, fostering collaboration across academia, industry, and policymaking, and opening new pathways for impactful global advancements.
This workshop is co-organized by Zhejiang Lab and China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT). It is designed for participants from academia, industry, and policymaking who seek to connect with leading experts, exchange insights, and explore cutting-edge technologies—empowering them to actively contribute to and benefit from the global AI ecosystem.
The event will be followed by the announcement of AI and Space Computing competition hosted by ITU AI/ML-China (Ingenuity Cup by CAICT), and a specialized TSB training session aimed at building capacity and fostering innovation in this rapidly evolving field, with further details to be updated soon.
