The African Development Bank Group invites development partners, policymakers, civil society organisations, and gender-equality advocates to join a high-level dialogue on digital safety and inclusion as part of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign.

The event will bring together leading experts, practitioners, and survivors to examine the growing threat of digital violence against women and girls across Africa. Discussions will focus on how integrating digital safety into development policies and programming can help create safer, more inclusive digital environments.

Participants will gain insights into emerging policy, legal, and operational approaches to preventing digital gender-based violence. The session will feature expert analysis on the prevalence and impact of online harassment, survivor testimonies, and practical strategies for embedding digital safety measures within Bank operations and partner initiatives..

This webinar forms part of the Bank's broader commitment to preventing and responding to gender-based violence, guided by Presidential Directive 02/2021 on Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, and Harassment (SEAH)
