ITU Regional Workshop on “Economic & Policy Issues of Digital Transformation”

The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is organizing a regional workshop on “Economic & Policy Issues of Digital Transformation” on 29 January 2023 in Manama, Bahrain from 9h30 to 17h00 AST. The workshop will be kindly hosted by the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) of Bahrain. The workshop will be followed by the meeting of the ITU-T SG3 Regional Group for the Arab Region.
Objective:
The main objective of the workshop is to provide an open forum for debating and exchanging views on a number of standardization topics under discussion at ITU-T and to highlight activities related to the Bridging the Standardization Gap (BSG) Programme including the work of Regional Groups. The target audience includes ITU Member States, national standards bodies, ICT regulators, ICT companies, ICT research organizations, service providers, and academia.
Target Audience:
Participation in the workshop is open to ITU Member States, Sector Members, Associates, and Academic Institutions and to any individual from a country which is a member of ITU who wishes to contribute to the work. This includes individuals who are also members of international, regional, and national organizations. Participation is free of charge.
