Switzerland – co-host of WSIS+20 and the AI for Good Global Summit with ITU

Emerging technologies like artificial intelligence have arrived on the global agenda. A great number of agencies in Geneva, Switzerland, are dealing with issues such as climate, health, human rights, innovation, labour and social justice. Technology influences all of them; they all influence technology. ITU, the United Nations’ foremost agency dealing with digital technologies, is hosting the AI for Good Global Summit and the World Summit on the Information Society High-Level Forum in Geneva in May 2024, along with Switzerland.
