WIPO
The new eMadrid Is Live, Simplifying Your Global Trademark Journey

We’re pleased to announce that the new eMadrid is now your default environment for managing international trademark registrations. It provides integrated access to all the online tools and services you need throughout the global trademark journey and gives you comprehensive control over your trademark portfolio in one secure location.

This evolution marks an important milestone in the digital transformation of WIPO’s Madrid System and a major upgrade in user experience, making global trademark management simpler, more intuitive and just as secure.

You need a WIPO Account to access all the new eMadrid features. Don’t have one? Create your WIPO Account now. Tip: If you're a holder or on-record representative, use the same email address you’ll use to file applications and manage registrations.

Reminder of what’s new and improved

The new eMadrid provides:

  • Integrated workbench – View applications and manage registrations, with powerful sorting, filtering and batch processing. Perform all your transactions securely in one place.
  • Collaboration features – Share asset access; set roles and permissions; work with your team.
  • Real-time updates and prompts – Stay on top of key actions with alerts and prompts.
  • Built-in guidance – Complete transactions confidently with validation, pre-filled fields, and step-by-step assistance.

Important transition information

  • Madrid Portfolio Manager has been discontinued – the new eMadrid offers all the familiar features of Madrid Portfolio Manager and more!
  • The previous version of eMadrid remains accessible via the new eMadrid environment but we strongly advise you to use your new workbench for all your transactions. Please update your bookmarks.
  • Redirects are in place from old URLs to the new eMadrid environment but please update your bookmarks to ensure uninterrupted access moving forward.
  • As we continue to develop our digital services under eMadrid, we will gradually add electronic signature for all Madrid System transactions – already implemented for Cancellation, Change holder details, Change ownership and Manage representative.
