WIPO is pleased to announce the second edition of the Global Research Experts Meeting on Improving Women’s Participation in Innovation, Creativity, and Intellectual Property (IP), to be held on November 24–25, 2025 at WIPO Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.
Organized under the WIPO IP and Gender Action Plan (IPGAP), this meeting will bring together leading economists, researchers, policy experts, and thought leaders from around the world to advance the global dialogue on women’s participation in innovation, creativity, and IP. Participants will explore innovative data collection methods, share research insights, and exchange ideas on shaping policies that broaden economic opportunities for women within the IP ecosystem. The meeting also aims to foster international collaboration, highlight women's contributions at national and regional levels, address key policy challenges, and develop a global network of experts dedicated to strengthening women’s engagement in IP.
Call for Papers: WIPO invites submissions on any topic related to intellectual property rights and/or innovation and creativity, particularly those that adopt a policy-oriented, empirical, experimental, qualitative, or economic modeling approach.
Submission Deadline: 31 July 2025
