ABOUT THE EVENT: COVID-19 has highlighted the critical role of digital technologies for inclusive development, resilience, and protecting lives and livelihoods. The shocks brought by the pandemic have also exposed the real cost of digital divides within and among countries, as well as the opportunities to build back better.

Our 10th #OneSouthAsia Conversation will explore how South Asian nations can tap opportunities to leapfrog into dynamic digital economies, societies, and governments, with concerted actions at national and regional levels.  It will also focus on the core enablers and challenges of creating a regional digital economy.  The event coincides with the release of World Bank’s flagship report on Accelerating Growth, Transforming Lives: South Asia’s Digital Opportunity,on March 29, 2022.
