📅 Save the date for the Sustainable and Digital Trade Facilitation Week, to be held fully in-person at Palais des Nations from 8 to 12 July 2024.

🚚 #Sustainable and #Digital #TradeFacilitation Week will feature the 42nd #UN/CEFACT Forum on 8-10 July 2024 and the 30th UN/CEFACT Plenary on 11-12 July 2024.

Over the years, the UN/CEFACT Forum has played a crucial role in shaping the future of trade facilitation and electronic business, supporting global trade and value chains management for sustainable development. The Forum regularly attracts over 300 participants from over 50 countries and offers extensive opportunities for networking with experts from the public and private sectors, showcasing the impact of key UN/CEFACT deliverables and enhancing partnerships.

This year, the 42nd UN/CEFACT Forum will feature an opening conference, followed by 11 interactive sessions.

The Plenary, consisting of UN/CEFACT Heads of Delegation and representatives of Geneva-based Missions is the decision-making body of UN/CEFACT. At its upcoming 30th session, it is scheduled to make a number of important decisions, including the election of a new UN/CEFACT Chair, the adoption of the UN/CEFACT Program of Work for 2025-2026 and the adoption of UNECE Recommendation No.49 on scaling transparency of sustainable value chains, among others. Furthermore, it will feature a policy discussion contributing to the strategic priorities of UNECE focusing on the green and digital transformations and climate action.
