Sixth World Telecommunication/ICT Policy Forum

The WTPF-21 will take place in Geneva from 16 to 18 December 2021, bringing together policymakers from around the world to discuss how to better harness technology to accelerate the achievement of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and tackle the world’s most pressing challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic, without leaving anyone behind. Emerging technologies are transforming the global digital economy. With them come unprecedented opportunities but also complex policy challenges spanning social, environmental and economic issues. WTPF-21 is an opportunity to create a shared vision for sustainable development through balanced and considered policies. What is at stake is the world’s ability to build a more just, inclusive and sustainable global digital economy.
