Join the DPI Safeguards Initiative’s 2025 Working Groups Cohort

The DPI Safeguards initiative, stewarded by the Office for Digital and Emerging Technologies (ODET) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) are pleased to be hosting an upcoming webinar for persons interested in contributing their expertise to shape the future of DPI safeguards.

Following the release of the Universal DPI Safeguards Framework at the Summit of the Future and the Global DPI Summit in 2024, the DPI Safeguards Initiative has announced a global call for nominations for the 2025 Working Groups Cohort.

These Working Groups will bring together experts from around the world to refine the Universal DPI Safeguards Framework, designed to address emerging challenges and foster inclusive, secure digital ecosystems.

We are seeking diverse and dynamic contributors, including:

• Senior professionals and leaders with substantial experience in digital transformation, governance, or policy-making roles;
• Visionaries with a track record of shaping strategies or policies at international or national levels; and
• Members who share the belief that multi-stakeholder processes in DPI are needed to maximise positive outcomes.
