ITU Interregional Training on Cybersecurity for Policymakers and National CIRTs (Moscow, Russia, 22-24 May 2024)

The ITU Interregional Training aims to enhance the communication and incident response capabilities of participating teams, and to ensure ongoing collective and collaborative efforts to mitigate cyber threats among Computer Security Incident Response Teams (CIRTs).
The first and second days of the event are dedicated to hands-on exercises built around various scenarios involving new types of cyberattacks. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to exchange experiences and discuss cooperation and training opportunities on cybersecurity.
On the third day of the event, participants will have the opportunity to participate in the Positive Hack Days festival, including the key Standoff event. A social program will also be organized for participants of the ITU event, including excursions to the Moscow’s main attractions. Considering the practical nature of the event, I encourage participation of teams from ITU’s member states, comprising a minimum of two members of your national CIRT, accompanied by a senior cybersecurity manager. This team structure will allow you to gain maximum benefit from the cyber threat simulations.
The ITU Interregional Training will be conducted in Russian and English with simultaneous interpretation. Please note that this event will be held in a paperless format.
At the invitation of Positive Technologies, ITU training participants will also be able to take part in the cybersecurity festival Positive Hack Days on May 23-26. Detailed information about festival events is available on the website: https://phdays.com/
