Green Digital Action at COP29

Green Digital Action will actively participate in COP29, showcasing our latest initiatives and partnerships, securing new commitments across our seven action areas, and collaborating with global leaders to further advance sustainable digital technologies and climate resilience.

This year, for the first time in COP history, the Presidency recognized the importance of digitalization in the climate talks and announced the Digitalisation Day. Therefore, apart from the regular GDA sessions, our agenda includes the High-Level Roundtable on Digital Action Path 4 Green World, that will take place on 16 November 2024, Baku – at the Digitalization Day. It will explore how digital technologies can transform climate action.

The roundtable will conclude with the adoption of the first Declaration, affirming the vital role of digital technologies in climate action and outlining a collaborative framework for advancing sustainability.
