 Background
The Inter-American Development Bank is conducting a series of studies to find out the level of progress that the tax administrations of Latin American countries have in their digital transformation process. Within the framework of these studies, a methodology called the Digital Maturity Model was developed, which establishes a matrix of evaluation criteria to establish the progress of a tax administration in four dimensions: digital environment, resources for transformation, data management and services digital. In the first round, five studies are being carried out in various countries. The case of Chile stands out, which has already been completed.
Objectives
With this background, the objective of this event is present and discuss the results of the Digital Maturity Model, review and share experiences on the advances of digitalization in tax administrations such as the Brazil (RFB), Chile (SII), Colombia (DIAN), Dominican Republic (DGII), Ecuador (SRI), Guatemala (SAT), Mexico (SAT), Paraguay (SET), and Peru (SUNAT). The results will provide useful experiences for other countries that are making significant efforts in their digital transformation process.
