Consultation meeting: 2025 UN Global Survey on Digital and Sustainable Trade Facilitation

Since its inception in 2015, the UN Global Survey on Digital and Sustainable Trade Facilitation has provided a comprehensive, forward-looking overview of trade facilitation measures implemented globally. The latest edition, conducted in 2023, covered over 160 countries through the collaborative efforts of all UN Regional Commissions (ECA, ECE, ECLAC, ESCAP, ESCWA), UNCTAD, and other partners, going well beyond the measures required under the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement.

In preparation for the next iteration of the Survey in 2025, the Survey instrument will be further enhanced and refined, with the data collection beginning in January 2025. Collaborators on the Survey are invited to the consultation meeting, to review and provide feedback on the proposed 2025 Survey instrument as well as suggestions on collaboration for effective dissemination and use of results plus the features of the interactive database associated with the Survey (www.untfsurvey.org).
