AI for Good Innovate for Impact will be held on 4 July 2024 at Expo Center of Shanghai, China, as a special half-day session within the larger World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC). This dedicated half-day session will focus on harnessing AI for social good.

Innovate for Impact is designed to harness the transformative potential of AI to address pressing global challenges and advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The program aims to bridge the knowledge gap and promote the application of AI in solving critical issues through the collection, analysis, and dissemination of impactful AI use cases.

Since its inception early 2024, Innovate for Impact has received 219 submissions from 38 countries, showcasing diverse applications of AI across various sectors, including healthcare, agriculture, energy, and governance. The program’s achievements include fostering collaboration among global scholars and experts, resulting in refined analysis of AI applications and the creation of a vibrant platform for regional viewpoints and global solutions.
