Accessible Arab Region 2023: ICT For ALL (3rd Edition)

Accessible Arab Region: ICT for ALL – 2023 is the ITU main regional platform focused on ICT Accessibility to ensure the digital inclusion and the empowerment of all people, regardless of age, gender, ability or location.

The event is organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in collaboration with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) and kindly hosted by the Agence de Developpement du Digital (ADD) of Morocco, in Rabat – Morocco from 28 to 30 November 2023.

Accessible Arab region aims to strengthen the knowledge of the ITU members and relevant stakeholders on policy and strategies of digital inclusion and the exchange of good practices to ensure accessibility of telecommunication and ICT products and services for everyone including persons with disabilities, girls, women, older persons, youth and children, in order to ensure that all will benefit from ICT opportunities. At the same time, Accessible Arab region provides an opportunity for participants to share experiences and knowledge about ICT accessibility projects and initiatives from the Arab region to benefit different parties as well as to promote networking among them.

Accessible Arab region will be conducted in Arabic, English and French and will count on local sign language interpretation. The event will also provide a training opportunity in ICT Accessibility.​
