The World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) framework recognizes that the equitable and meaningful participation of youth is crucial to achieving a people-centric, inclusive, and development-oriented information society. As outlined in the WSIS+20 review (A/RES/80/173), closing the digital divide and fostering digital inclusion are fundamental to accelerating progress on the Sustainable Development Goals. This session highlights how coordinated actions involving youth with all stakeholders can advance a people-centered digital society toward 2035, ensuring no one is left behind in the rapidly evolving digital landscape.
