About the session
This roundtable will explore how e-commerce and digital technologies can help African women entrepreneurs scale their businesses and drive shared prosperity. It will also showcase the “E-Commerce Manual for African Women Entrepreneurs,” a practical guide offering tools and strategies for women to succeed in the digital marketplace.
The session will highlight Côte d’Ivoire’s experience through the presentation of its recently launched Stratégie nationale du commerce électronique (National E-commerce Strategy).
Aligned with the 2025 theme of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence – “Ending Digital Violence Against Women and Girls,” the event will underscore the need to create a safe and inclusive digital space where women can thrive. Discussions will feature inspiring voices and experiences on how to make online trade and entrepreneurship safer and more accessible for women across Africa.
