Digital transformation offers growth opportunities for African businesses, but women entrepreneurs still face obstacles to successfully grow their businesses. The eTrade for Women initiative, championed by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), invited 21 women entrepreneurs in the digital and e-commerce sector from 6 countries from francophone Africa to its Masterclass held online, on 5-7 October 2022. The Masterclass was organized in partnership with Birame Sock, Founder and CEO of Kwely, and eTrade for Women Advocate.
