Sadia Haque is the Co-Founder and CEO of ShareTrip Limited — Bangladesh's first and largest online travel technology platform. Born and raised in Dhaka, she is a product of the city's vibrant energy and a living example of the digital transformation taking place across South Asia. With over 17 years of experience spanning telecommunications, media, and technology, she has built ShareTrip into a household name and a benchmark for homegrown digital entrepreneurship in Bangladesh.
Sadia's professional journey traces the arc of Bangladesh's own digital evolution. She began her career at Grameenphone — at the time the country's largest telecommunications company — as a Specialist for Market Communications, at a moment when mobile connectivity was just beginning to reshape everyday life in Bangladesh. From there, she moved to BBC Media Action, where she led campaign planning, marketing, and communications, helping translate development goals into narratives that resonated with local audiences.
Her subsequent roles at Nokia and Banglalink — where she served as Head of Mother Brand, deepened her expertise in digital marketing and brand building within the Bangladeshi market. Across each role, she witnessed firsthand how technology could democratize access and create opportunity in a country of over 170 million people.

Travel in Bangladesh was traditionally an offline, opaque, and agent-driven industry. Booking a flight or hotel meant visiting a travel agency, navigating uncertain pricing, and accepting poor after-sales support. Sadia and her husband Kashef Rahman — who together co-founded ShareTrip and continue to lead the company side by side — set out to change that. What began as Travel Booking Bangladesh (TBBD), born from the couple's personal passion for finding the best travel deals, evolved into ShareTrip: Bangladesh's definitive digital travel platform securing foreign direct investment.
