Tech attache briefing: WSIS+20 reflections and end of year get-together

The event is part of a series of regular briefings that the Geneva Internet Platform (GIP) is delivering for diplomats at permanent missions and delegations in Geneva following digital policy issues. It is an invitation-only event.

As we approach the end of a very active year for digital governance in Geneva and beyond, Diplo and the Geneva Internet Platform are pleased to invite Geneva-based diplomats to a WSIS+20 reflection and end of year get-together, held as part of our regular briefing series for the Geneva diplomatic community. 

Taking place the day after the conclusion of the UN General Assembly (GA) High-level meeting on the WSIS+20 review, the event will open with a short briefing offering reflections on the review outcomes and their implications for Geneva-based processes. We will highlight the main decisions and what to expect in terms of next steps, and offer insights based on the just-in-time reporting we will provide during the GA meeting. This will be followed by a light cocktail and refreshments.
