UNCDF Convenes Webinar Series on COVID-19 and Last Mile Finance

The COVID-19 pandemic risks hitting the world’s least developed countries (LDCs) with particular ferocity. In this context, UNCDF is supporting LDCs and other countries in need through its mandate to build stable and resilient local economies, and by leveraging a range of technical expertise and investment instruments to reduce and limit economic and social hardship for poor communities.

One of the ways that UNCDF is fulfilling its mandate is by convening expert roundtable discussions through UNCDF’s Webinar Series on COVID-19 and Last Mile Finance.

Through these webinars, UNCDF convenes stakeholders spanning the international financial architecture—mayors and regulators; investors and diplomats; development professionals, entrepreneurs and institutional investors—to explore challenges and solutions in the context of COVID-19 and last mile geographies; notably, within the areas of municipal, digital and SME finance.

UNCDF is making these webinars and associated content available to all visitors.
