Digital transformation offers growth opportunities for businesses across Latin America and the Caribbean. Yet, women entrepreneurs still face obstacles to grow their digital businesses. The eTrade for Women initiative, championed by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), hosted its first in-person Masterclass for Latin America and the Caribbean, on 25-28 April 2023, in Quito, Ecuador. The Masterclass was organized in partnership with Pierangela Sierra, Founder and CEO of Tipti, and eTrade for Women Advocate. It gathered 23 women from 6 countries of the region.
