Validation Workshop of the Feasibility Study on Cross-border Electronic Exchange of Trade Data: NEPAL

Co-organized by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies (MOICS), Nepal and United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP)

The workshop aims to discuss and validate the national feasibility study on cross-border electronic exchange of trade data. Agencies involved in the data collection for the national feasibility study are invited: Department of Customs, Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies (MOICS), Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FNCCI), Nepal Freight forwarders association, Plant Quarantine and Pesticides Management Center (PQPMC), Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (MOCIT), Trade and Export Promotion Center (TEPC) and Nepal Intermodal Transport Development Board. The workshop and the national feasibility study are conducted under the project “Enhancing capacity for sustainable cross-border trade digitalization through application of emerging technologies”, supported by Enhanced Integrated Framework (EIF).
