The event is part of a series of webinars designed to explore different perspectives on trading goods in the digital age: import, export and transit procedures. In this edition, we will explore the impact of digital technologies (e.g., AI, machine learning, blockchain) on modernising supply chain operations by increasing efficiency, transparency and resilience, as well as integrating real-time data from various stakeholders. These new technologies offer transformational opportunities for customs and other border agencies by increasing efficiency and compliance, reducing bureaucracy, and preventing fraud. Discussions will focus on the use of these technologies in supply chain operations, what challenges have been faced and what future trends hold.
