Setting priories and measuring over time the digital transformation of a country

To support governments in their country’s digital transformation, UNCDF developed a policy tool: the Inclusive Digital Economies Scorecard (IDES). It identifies the key market constraints and helps set the right priorities with public and private stakeholders in each country to foster a digital economy that leaves no one behind.

In this webinar, you will learn more how the IDES is helping countries set priorities and measure over time the progress made in the digital transformation of their economies and its inclusiveness.

In this session, you will hear Preeti Sinha, Executive Secretary, UNCDF and Jean Van Wetter Managing Director, Enabel, who will introduce the panel discussion on IDES and highlight the importance of data to make informed decisions. In the panel, Tina Jabeen, Founding President, Bangladesh Women Investors Network, will discuss with Dr. Luke Governor of the Central Bank and Mr. Moses Virivolomo, Permanent Secretary Ministry of Communication and Aviation of Solomon Islands, how IDES is accompanying the transformation of the country.

A specific focus will be given during the event on bringing women at the center of the digital transformation journey by Maria Perdomo, UNCDF.
