Understanding the principles and application of duties and taxes is a matter of great importance to small enterprises selling online. Getting it wrong can be costly and even have legal implications. Getting it right can be a competitive advantage: delivering products to customers at the right price without surprise extra charges.

Coinciding with a new International Trade Centre report “E-commerce at the border”, a team of experts will debate the complexities and opportunities of correctly accounting for duties and purchase taxes in online sales, particularly in the context of new regulations which come into effect in the European Union from the 1st July 2021.

We will also host a workshop for small businesses doing e-commerce where will give practical advice on handling customs and duties.

Register to participate in the debate and workshop!
