Bridging digital gap for female-owned businesses in developing economies (CSW side event)

The Commonwealth Secretariat and the International Trade Centre will host an event on 8 March in New York City on bridging the digital gap for female-owned businesses in developing countries.

Being held on the margins of the 67th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW), the event will mark International Women’s Day and will highlight the ongoing work on narrowing the digital gender gap as a driver of women’s economic empowerment.

The event will bring together government officials, development experts and female business owners to share insights and strategies for promoting women’s fair and equal access to technology and its benefits, regardless of their geographic location.
