The second in a series of round-table discussions, hosted by UNCDF and Bank of Uganda, will be happening on the 31st of August 2023. The round-table series focuses on the ways in which digital financial services can expand beyond just payments to better include elements like credit, savings, investment and more. The first conversation focused on the ways in which we can better include credit within DFS offerings and gleaned insights in regards to consumer protection and education, the latest in business models globally and data collection and management.

The second conversation will focus on saving and investment. How can we harness digital savings & investment to reach more traditionally underserved populations?
