55th Commission Side Event: UNCITRAL and the Law of Digital Trade

UNCITRAL RCAP is pleased to invite you to the 55th Commission side event on Thursday, 7 July 2022. Titled “UNCITRAL and the Law of Digital Trade”, this virtual event is co-organised by UNCITRAL, the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Korea, the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Korea to the United Nations, and supported by UNCITRAL RCAP. This side-event will provide informative exchanges with a wide range of stakeholders on the intersection between the bilateral, regional and plurilateral negotiations on digital trade, such as discussions under the WTO JSI on E-commerce, Digital Economy Partnership Agreements (DEPAs) or digital cooperation chapters in international trade agreements and the way UNCITRAL texts (past and future) provide the legal infrastructure for implementing digital trade agreements.
